Welcome to ACB SPORTS…

I’m so glad you’re here…

My name is Ann Bath and I am excited to be launching ACB Sports. I live in River Forest, Illinois where I grew up, playing ALL of the sports in this amazing community, volleyball and softball being my true loves. My husband, Jamey and I are so glad we landed here to raise our two kids, Charlie and Alice.

I have been a volunteer coach for River Forest Youth Baseball and Softball since 2014. I have had the privilege of coaching t-ball, baseball and softball. I currently serve on the Board of Directors as the VP of Girls Softball and lead our marketing and community outreach efforts. I have coached in the house league and tournament summer leagues. I established, administered and coached skills development programs for baseball and softball athletes, fostering collaboration with community partners, student athlete coaches and parent volunteers.

I am also a certified Girls On The Run Coach and have partnered with the organization since running the 2018 Chicago Marathon with their team as part of the race’s charity program.

Most recently, I launched a volleyball skills program in our local elementary schools for grades 3-5 after identifying a gap in opportunities for kids of this age group to be able to just “try” the sport, locally and affordably. The program has been very successful and I look forward to layering in more sports programming opportunities for this specific age group, using ACB Sports as my platform.

In my mind's eye, there are endless opportunities to create athletic programming in which young kids can feel included, gain confidence and work together as teammates to serve their community in a safe, inclusive, fun and positive environment.

When I reflect back on my athletic career, my fondest memories are from my early adolescence. I was fortunate enough to have a few amazing coaches that shaped my outlook on life through lessons learned on the field and on the court that have carried me through the successes and challenges of my personal and professional life.

All athletic journeys truly are “more than just a game”, especially at this age level which is why I am so passionate about focusing my energy specifically on elementary and middle school athletes. A strong foundation built on confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership skills and community service will serve our youth in navigating their path in life way beyond their athletic journeys. I know it has for me and I am honored to have the opportunity to pay my experience forward to our children at this very critical stage of development.

Thank you for visiting my site. I look forward to serving you in the near future.
